The Idaho Walk Bike Alliance team had a very busy summer hosting programs for over 1,000 kids at a variety of events. Executive Director – Ted Hallisey hosted a series of Human-Powered Rodeo events including daily events during the Bannock County Fair in Downey the first week of August. He also hosted library programs in Blackfoot, Lava Hot Springs, McCammon, Preston and Downey – along with a Reading, Roping and Human-Powered Rodeo Event at Cornerstone Learning Hub in Pocatello on Aug 21st.
Charmane Davis hosted a Bike Rodeo in Wendell for over 50 kids and also hosted Safe Routes to Schools PowerPoint programs to teach kids about walking and biking safety.
Tenecia Cooper hosted a Bike Rodeo in Buhl during Sagebrush Days and also hosted classroom bike safety programs for over 100 1st graders in Buhl
