Have you found your pandemic silver lining?
Wow, 2020 – what a year!

This year definitely left us searching for Silver Linings. We found one in the opportunity to experience our roads with fewer cars last spring, like this mom and kids enjoying roads that are accessible for ALL. Scenes like this allowed us to envision a transportation system designed with our most vulnerable users in mind.
Despite all that 2020 has thrown us, we want you to know that we are still here, working hard every single day so you and your family can live in a community that is safer and healthier. We have not wavered from this vision for one single second. No matter if we are working from our homes, don’t see people for days, or can’t attend important transportation meetings live. We are still here.
Typically, at year’s end we share a list of accomplishments as we celebrate another walk or bicycle ride around the sun, but this year is different. We decided to look for Silver Linings. We found many and decided to celebrate them with YOU.
Our award-winning* Silver Linings video conference series has brought us together to share, learn, and stay connected. It’s so nice to see all your smiling faces at these. We rely on this connection as much as you have over the last many months, so thanks for tuning in to spend the occasional hour with us. In fact, we successfully hosted our first two-day virtual Transportation Conference with barely a Zoom glitch.
As you look back on this crazy year, we hope you will continue to find your own silver linings, and we hope Idaho Walk Bike Alliance is one of those. As you are able, please generously donate to our year-end campaign by clicking the button below. This is our biggest fundraiser each year and it sets us up for success as we head (thankfully) into 2021.
